2006 West Indian Parade Brooklyn
We went up to the West Indian Parade yesterday along Eastern Parkway- great music - great food and some excellent costumes. We’ll be heading to Trinidad Tobago in February to visit my brother for Carnival so this was a great introduction. My brother tells me we are going to join a band for carnival, which entails wearing excellent (and barely there) costumes. Which outfit should we order?

For Andrew I’d say the guy with the painted face and animal head on. For you Tammy I’d go for the most feathers and beads possible.

I’m with you. If I don’t have 30lbs of beads on me - something is wrong. Although how all that 30lbs of bedazzling is going to sit on a tiny bikini is beyond me.
