I can’t wait to read the post - especially the part about putting a want ad on Craigslist for a “man with an axe” - and because today is “Speak like a Pirate” day, I guess that would be a boarding axe, matey.
I called around and they had by far the best price. They are a bit far away, but I paid them a bit extra to come and pick it up and drop it off. It is a nice little company run but a guy and his daughter. Their fabric samples were’nt exactly what I was looking for (but they do they have the basics) so I went to Zarins on the LES. The fabric was almost as expensive as the labor. http://store.zarinfabrics.com/store/
