Who is this band Frauke that is so shamelessly being promoted on our blog? I can neither confirm nor deny their identities except that they are Frauke Frauke and Frauke and they are from the black mountains of Brooklyn new york Germany – 11231 in the house – what what! Anyway, Frauke, Frauke and Frauke did ask me to tell you that they are playing tonight and the show should be awesome. There is also a rooftop bbq happening at The Delancey and I’m told they have a stunning view of the wburg bridge. Come for sausage, be mesmerized by the view, stay for Frauke (9:00), and hold onto your shoes and pants., you don’t want to lose them.

So last week me and a close friend of mine went to the Palace Theater in Times Square to check out Legally Blonde on broadway. To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t sure how much I was going to enjoy this show. Being that I had never seen the movie, I did not know what to expect. Being a guy who grew up on (and still love) stuff like Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Thunder Cats, the only reassurance I had for a show drenched in pink was the enthusiasm of my friend who told me this was going to be awesome! Well I must say, she was certainly right about it being awesome. Just looking at the show from a purely aesthetic level, the colors, costumes, and set designs were captivating. The performances were wonderful as well. I thought each character was played out just right. But what I particularly enjoyed the most was the humor wrapped in throughout the show. Definitely very funny. I would reccommend all of the Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Thunder Cats dudes out there to go and watch Legally Blonde on broadway. You will be surprised to realize how much you enjoyed it.
